Welcome to Seawolf Scholars
The purpose of Seawolf Scholars at Sonoma State University is to provide current and former foster youth with advocacy, academic support, community building, and access to resources for educational success. The Seawolf Scholars program strives to break down stereotypes by increasing awareness of the Foster Care System for Sonoma State University students, faculty, and the local community.
Seawolf Scholars is housed in the Center for Academic Access and Student Enrichment (CAASE) within the Division of Student Affairs. CAASE is a people-first hub that supports students from orientation through graduation. Through advising, academic support, community-building, and professional development, CAASE helps students, particularly those from historically underserved and underrepresented backgrounds, thrive at Sonoma State University and beyond. Rooted in belonging with purpose, CAASE fosters an affirming, goal-driven environment where students connect their identities, experiences, and aspirations to their educational journey.
