Graduating Seniors
Seawolf Scholar Graduates
As our graduating Seawolf Scholars prepare to leave the campus community and embark on their next adventures, we recognize the importance of celebrating their achievements while also fostering meaningful connections with key campus partners. This collaborative series of events will bring together graduating students, faculty members, staff, alumni, donors and community members. Join us for an enriching program designed to honor our graduates and build relationships that extend beyond their time on campus.
Barber, Braids and Blowouts
Recognizing the transformative power of self-care and grooming, we seek to empower students as they transition into their post-graduation journeys and prepare to be celebrated. This program honors the graduates by providing free haircuts in collaboration with the HUB Cultural Center.
Graduation Regalia
By removing the cost barrier associated with purchasing regalia, we ensure that every Seawolf Scholar can fully participate in the commencement ceremony. In collaboration with the Sonoma State University Official Bookstore and made possible by our donor, all Seawolf Scholars will be provided with graduation regalia.
Beyond Graduation with SSU Alumni Association
This partnership, made possible by our donor, ensures continuity of support for Seawolf Scholars beyond their college years, facilitating a seamless transition into the workforce or graduate school. In collaboration with Alumni Associations, graduating seniors are given a complimentary life membership and Grad Bag. By harnessing the collective power of our alumni community and fostering meaningful connections, this program embodies a commitment to equity, opportunity, and social responsibility.
End of Year Graduation Celebration
A personalized graduation ceremony where each Seawolf Scholar is individually recognized for their academic achievements. Graduates have the opportunity to walk across the stage, receive their cord, and be applauded by their peers, caregivers, mentors, and supporters. Special guests, including donors, community leaders, faculty and alumni may also attend to offer words of encouragement and congratulations. Spring 2026 - May 7th, Ballroom A, 4:30pm-6:00pm.
